Melanie Cleary joined Kronenberg Law PC in 2016 and serves as the firm’s senior paralegal. While working in the mentally demanding, fast-paced environment of Kronenberg Law, Ms. Cleary gracefully takes control of the discovery and trial prep processes of our cases which requires her to rely on her exceptional multitasking and organizational skills to fulfil the myriad demands. Her passion for justice was instilled early, after having ten deeply meaningful years working for nonprofit organizations to prevent domestic, sexual and family violence. She then returned to school to earn her associates degree and received her paralegal certificate from Merritt College. Melanie started her legal career in civil litigation, mostly for plaintiffs, and has happily transitioned to legal defense as her way of helping maintain the balance that is so vital to a fair judicial system, as well as to bring a unique skill set and plaintiff perspective to the defense team of Kronenberg Law.

Ms. Cleary is also a published author (the autobiographical TenderHeart: The Courageous Ladybug Who Could Fly) and she continues to be active as a volunteer domestic/sexual violence prevention advocate, public educator, trainer and activist.
